Japanese judoka Sotaro Fujiwara took silver at the World Championships in Baku in 2018. Ge took silver at the 2015 World Junior Championships in Abu Dhabi. He also won the World Junior Team title with Japan and senior gold in 2019. Fujiwara won the Grand Slam of Paris in 2018. He won gold at the Grand Slam in Düsseldorf in 2019. He clinched a silver medal at the gold Grand Prix in Hohhot in 2019. He bagged a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2021 but took Paris gold in 2022. He bagged a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Tokyo in 2022. Earned bronze at the GS Qazaqstan Barysy in 2024.
