Maylin Del Toro Carvajal from Cuba won the Pan American Championships in 2015 and Pan Am Games bronze U63kg. She took silver at the Pan American championships in 2019 in Lima. She won bronze at the World Junior Championships in 2013 in Ljubljana. Del Toro Carvajal finished fifth at the 2018 World Championships in Baku. Maylin took gold at the Grand Prix in Antalya in 2019 and a bronze medal in Budapest and Dusseldorf and silver in Abu Dhabi. She claimed a gold medal at the Panam Open in Lima in 2018. She claimed a bronze medal at the Grand Prix in Budapest in 2022.
