Khasan Khalmurzaev of Russia won the Olympic title in Rio in 2016 in the final vs Travis Stevens. In 2016 he became European Champion and won the GP of Havana. At the 2017 World Championships he won bronze. The twinbrother of Khusen won the Universiade title in 2015 and was European Junior Champion in 2011 and won 2 medals at European U23 Championships. Khasan was World U17 Champion in Budapest in 2009 U73kg. In 2017 he won the Grand Slam in Ekaterinburg and IJF Masters in St. Petersburg.
