Valentin Houinato is on the brink of competing in the Paris Olympic Games, representing Benin, the country of his father, while living in France. Competing in the -81kg category, Valentin earned bronze medals at the 2023 African Opens in Niamey and Dakar, and the 2024 African Open in Tunis.
