Slovenian judoka Marusa Stangar took gold at the Grand Prix in Tbilisi in 2018 and bronze in 2021. She triumphed at the Grand Prix in Linz in and GP Dushanbe in 2023. Silver at the Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi in 2019 and bronze at the GS in Baku in 2022. Marusa became European Cadet Champion U18 in 2015. She took bronze at the World Junior Championships in 2017 and world silver at the 2015 Juniors in Abu Dhabi. Marusa took bronze at the World Cadets in 2013. She was World Ranking leader U18, U21 and U23. She took bronze at the European Games in Minsk. She won bronze at the GP in Zagreb in 2023.
