Austrian judoka Laurin Boehler took bronze at the Grand Slam in Ekaterinburg in 2017. He won bronze at the European Open in Tallinn in 2016. Boehler won Austrian titles as cadet, junior and U23 and added the Austrian senior title in 2015. He took a bronze medal at the Grand Prix in Zagreb in 2016. He took bronze at the Grand Slam in Ekaterinburg in 2018. He claimed a silver medal at the 2018 Grand Prix in Cancun. He won bronze at the Grand Slam in Düsseldorf in 2019. He finished with bronze at the European Cup in Malaga in 2022. He captured a medal at the European Open in Warsaw in 2023.
