Jan Reijntjens won a bronze medal at the EYOF in Tbilisi in 2015 U81kg. He won the Dutch Cadet title in 2015 and various European Cups for Cadets. he won European silver with the Dutch team and won his match as only man in the team against Georgia. He won the European Cup U21 in Kaunas in 2018. He captured a bronze medal at the European Cup in Dubrovnik in 2019. He clinched a gold medal at the European Cup in Celje in 2019. Seized gold at the Belgian Open in Visé in 2021.
