German judoka Anna-Maria Wagner became World Champion in 2021 in Budapest. She captured bronze at the Tokyo2020 Games. She bagged a gold medal at the Grand Slams in Tel Aviv and Kazan in 2021. She claimed gold at the Grand Slam in Antalya in 2022. Wagner took silver at the Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi in 2016 and Düsseldorf in 2019 and bronze in 2020. She became European Junior champion in 2016 and European U23 Champion in 2017. European senior bronze in 2018. Wagner won bronze at the World Juniors in 2015 U78kg. She clinched gold at the Grand Slam in Tbilisi in 2022 and 2023 and Linz in 2023.
