Belgian judoka Jorre Verstraeten bagged the Grand Slam gold in Antalya in 2021 and gold in Budapest in 2022. In 2019 he won the Grand Prix in Tel Aviv. He captured bronze at the European Games in Minsk 2019. He claimed a bronze medal at the European Championships in 2020 and 2022. He won bronze medal at the Grand Prix in Cancun in 2017. Verstraeten won bronze at the European Open in Minsk in 2018. He took silver at the EYOF in Utrecht in 2013 U50kg. He won a bronze medal at the Cadet Worlds in 2013. He claimed a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Tel Aviv in 2023 and GS bronze in Antalya.
