Sarah Myriam Mazouz of Gabon won international senior medals since 2012 and claimed 5 medals in 2015 at PanAm Opens and silver at the Grand Prix in Ulaanbaatar in 2015 which was her breakthrough. Until 2014 Mazouz fought for Canada. She won the African Open in Yaounde in 2019. She represented Canada from 2012 to 2014 before declaring for Gabon in the same year and competing at the Rio 2016 Olympics. She took gold at the African Games in Rabat in 2019. Silver at the PanAm Open in Santo Domingo.
