Cor van der Geest is a well known judo coach in The Netherlands. As coach of his club Kenamju he won the European Cup and as National coach and technical director he won World and European titles and Olympic medals with his sons Dennis and Elco van der Geest, Claudia Zwiers. Van der Geest was awarded eight Dan in the occassion of the 2022 World Championships in Tashkent. His son Dennis became World Champion in 2005, his son Elco became European Champion twice. Also Guillaume Elmont and Ruben Houkes from his club Kenamju became World Champion.
