Czech judoka Alice Matejckova won the European Cup in Orenburg in 2018. She took a bronze medal at the European Cup in Belgrade in 2018. She the only female member of the Czech Republic’s 10-strong team for Baku 2018. The three-time Junior European Cup bronze medallist, who fights out of Plzen, has started her senior career this year with European Open and European Cup adventures as well as a trip to Ekaterina, Russia, in July for the inaugural European Mixed Team Championships. She claimed a bronze medal at the European Open in Zagreb in 2021.
