Alexandre Mariac of France won the African Open in Casablanca U66kg and silver at the Euro Open in Cluj, both in 2015. In 2016 he was in the final of the African Open in Tunis. Mariac won French title U17 and U20 and senior titles in 2016 and 2017. Mariac won bronze at the European Open in Lisbon in 2017. He became French senior champion in 2017. He claimed a bronze medal at the European Open in Warsaw in 2019. He won the Pan American Open in Cordoba in 2019 and took silver in Santiago. Seized gold at the Belgian Open in Visé in 2014.
