Taipeh judoka Chen-Ling Lien took gold at the Grand Slam in Baku in 2017. She won a World Cup in Korea in 2011. 2015 She won in Prague and took gold at the Grand Prix Budapest U57kg. She is the most familiair judoka from Taipeh but has Japanese roots. She won various medals at Asian Championships/Games. Fifth at the Olympic Games in Rio. She took a silver medal at the Grand Slam in Ekaterinburg in 2018 and 2019. She clinched a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Tokyo in 2023. and is Japan based. She claimed a bronze medal at the Asian Championships in 2022.
