Kasmirah Liotard was very active as a judoka in the mid-1970s and won several national and international titles. Kasmirah subsequently focused on arbitrating. Liotard was the first female referee at the JBN. In addition to being a national referee, Kasmirah became an international judo referee and has refereed many international events. Kashmirah was also one of the first female referees in Europe. Kasmirah Liotard thought back fondly on her judo and referee career and remained an arbitrator for as long as she could. She passed away in 2021 aged 76.
