Soumiya Iraoui of Morocco seized gold at the 2024 African Championships in Cairo. Soumiya claimed a bronze medal at the African Open in Dakar in 2019. Born Salé next to Rabat. She has four sisters and a brother. Soumiya likes to read books and started judo when she was 14 years. In 2023 she won the Arab Championships in Doha. Iraoui captured a silver medal at the GP in Zagreb in 2023. She captured a silver medal at the African Games in Rabat in 2019. Soumiya clinched a bronze medal at the Grand Prix in Tashkent in 2019. Silver at the 2025 African Open in Casablanca.
