French judoka Daniel Fernandes was 2003 World Championships silver medallist U73kg and triple European senior medallist (2001, 2005, 2006). Dany was fifth at 2004 Athens Olympic Games. 3 European Championships medals 2001-2006. His club was Club: US Orleans. he won the Tournoi de Paris twice in 2001 and 2005. He won five World Cups, two in Paris, Budapest (1998), and Munich (1998) and Prague (2001). Dany became one of the national coaches of the men’s team. As an athlete he was coached by Patrick Rosso.
