Dutch Olympian Denny Ebbers won a European bronze medal in 1995 in Birmingham. He won bronze at the European Junior Championships in 1993. The heavyweight competed at the 1996 Olympic Games. In 2009 the triple Dutch champion was diagnosed of cancer and passed away in 2015 losing his last fight.
