German judoka Thomas Mueller was the 1992 European Champion of Paris open category. He was silver in 1989 in Helsinki. At the World Championships he finished 7th. He won the Czech Cup in Prague and Tournament in Sofia. World Junior bronze in 1986 in Rome. Mueller was German champion in 1991.
