In Kazakhstan, the women competing in the U52kg and U57kg categories are poised for intense battles on day one. The top seeds bring a mix of experience and determination to the tatami.
In the U52kg category, all eyes are on the Swiss duo of Fabienne Kocher and Binta Ndiaye, who faced off in the final in Dushanbe, earning gold and silver respectively. Seeded seventh and sixth. Ndiaye hads a tough draw in Korean Jang Se-yun who should never be underestimated.
