2013 World Champion Loic Pietri wants to qualify for the Olympic Games in his old category U81kg where be shone catching a world title and fought heroic fights with Avtandili Tchrikishvili in 2013 and 2014. The Frenchman announced his comeback after he didn’t get traction U90kg.
Pietri said on his Facebook: "I wanted to wish you all a happy and happy new year 2021, wishing you all the best in the current context!
I take this opportunity to announce my decision to fight in my favorite 81 kg category to win world podiums again. Thus, giving second momentum to my sports career and projecting myself to an Olympic medal...
