IJF extends Olympic qualification period

During an extraordinary meeting of the International Judo Federation about the consequences of the COVID-19 crisis, the Executive Committee took the following three unanimous decisions to guaranty the safety of the whole judo family as well as the fairness of the sport:
- The Olympic Qualification period will be extended until 30th June 2020
- The Continental Championships planned in period until 30th April 2020 will be postponed
- All Cadet and Junior events are also cancelled until 30th April 2020

So far a Grand Prix in Hohhot is also scheduled in June.
The European senior Championships in Prague are held from 1 May and not cancelled for now. All other Continental Championships are postponed.
