Maria Celia Laborde of the USA and won a bronze medal at the World Championships in Chelyabinsk in 2014 U48kg on behalf of Cuba. She won the Pan Am Championships in the same year and was multiple Champion of Cuba. She won bronze at the Grand Slam of Paris in 2013. Since 2021 she fights for USA. She claimed a bronze medal at the Pan American Oceania Championships in 2022 and 2024. She won gold at the Oceania Open in Perth in 2022. In June 2023 time she was on great form taking a silver medalat the Budapest IJF Masters. Claimed a bronze medal at the 2025 Grand Prix Upper Austria in Linz.
