Yves Delvingt was World Championships finalist in 1979. He finished 5th at the 1980 Olympic Games. He won the European title in 1977 U65kg and gained 4 European medals. European gold with France in 1976 and 3-time French champion. He comes from a judo family. Brother Guy was also a good judoka.
