French judoka Sarah-Leonie Cysique finished second at the 2020 Olympic Games but was essential at the victory of the French team winning Olympic gold. She claimed a silver medal at the European Championships in 2022 on Sofia and bronze in 2020 and 2021. Cysique took silver at the Junior World Championships in Nassau in the Bahamas. She won silver at the Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi in 2019. She took silver at the IJF Judo masters in 2021 and 2023. She bagged a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2022 and silver in Antalya. She claimed gold at the Grand Slam Qazaq Barysy in Astana in 2023.
