Italian judoka Savita Russo earned a bronze medal at the 2024 European Championships in Zagreb. She became 2023 Junior European Champion -63kg in The Hague. Finished with bronze at the 2023 Cadet World Championships in Sarajevo in 2022. Attained bronze at the 2023 European Open in Sofia in 2023. Savita claimed the gold medal at the Junior European Cup in Prague and Gradec in 2023. She is in the top ten youngest participants at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games aged 19. Attained a silver medal at the junior world championships in 2024 in Dushanbe (TJK).
