Dutch judoka Maartje Daamen took a bronze medal at the Dutch senior Championships in 2021. She secured a bronze medal at the European Cup in Riga in 2023. She took a silver medal with the Dutch team at the European University Games in Zagreb. In 2023 she won the gold medal at the Soeverein Judo Cup in Lommel.
