Mexican judoka Paulina Martinez competed at the 2023 and 2024 World Championships. Finished 17th in Abu Dhabi in 2024 -52kg (second round loss). Competed at two Junior World Championships, nboth first round in 2018 and 2019. Silver medals at the 2023 Pan American Oceania Championships in Calgary and Pan American Games in Santiago. Fifth place in 2024 at Pan Am Championships. Earned bronze medals at Pan American cadet and junior championships in 2016 and 2017. Collected nine medals at Pan American Open events including three victories in 2022 in Guayaquil, Lima and Bogota.
