Rizlen Zouak, Morocco, is going to Gabon to win the African Championships with aggressive Judo. A toughness she has sharpened with MMA training.

African Championships, in -63 with a lot of good competitors, what’s your feeling?

My feeling for this championship d Africa is the determination. It is one year that I have waited for this day to go to get back my title of 2013.

From where do you see the biggest threat to the victory in the championships?

The biggest threat for me is my lack of concentration which can arrive during the fight and also every opponent is a threat.
It is necessary to go in with an open mind.

I understand you do your everyday training in France, where?

This year I work with the biggest club of MMA in France Fernand Lopez’s team crosfight.
One week ago they had 2 fighters in the UFC.

Over there I make my physical preparations, of the MMA to be more aggressive in my judo and the work on the ground where I have gaps.

Then at the level judo I work with my club of Montreuil and the institute of the judo

You went to Romania to do the last phase of preparation for the championship. A really strong female Judo nation, tell us about the camp?

Romania is a very big nation especially in the weighty categories light where they had many medals world and Olympic.

We make a lot of judo in the morning 2 hours of technique and in the after noon randoris.

The Romanian judo is on the hand-to-hand fight a lot.

People over there are very welcoming and I thank them a lot .

What is your take on your race for the qualification for the 2016 Olympics?

It is one year to the Olympics, to Win the championships of Africa will allow me to be good at the level of the qualification.

I’m working hard to be at the top. The judo is a sport where it is necessary to be strong on the D-Day.
