Countdown to the battle for World glory in 100 days

Hundred days for the Judo World Championships take place in Tokyo the top of the world elite is counting the days with the global judo fans to see judo coming back home where it started. Tokyo will give us the most reliable insight who is capable of taking the Olympic title in the same venue in 2020.

The official test event for judo will start from 25 August in the Kodokan and more than 700 athletes are expected to fight for the 56 individual medals. After the 14 individual events, the mixed team event will take place with the Japanese team as major favourite and great warm-up for this new Olympic event on the 9th day of the Olympic Games. Judo will start traditionally one day after the opening ceremony.
