The OTC in Mittersill was successfully closed. With more than 1,000 Judoka from all over the world, the training camp broke all records. The Austrian Judo Federation is happy with the result.

"The OTC in Mittersill is a great opportunity at the beginning of the year. Athletes from five continents and 47 nations are here, that's terrific" said sporting director Markus Moser. The perfect conditions are appreciated by the athletes. The start of the season is an important kick-off with tradition for the athletes. It delivers pleasure with the combination of hard work, sweat and the fresh air in the mountains full of snow.

In the weekend Mittersill hosted for the first time the IJF Referee and Coach Seminar. The seminar was witnessed by IJF President Marius Vizer as well. Athletes gave good presence in social media with lots of joyful pictures from the hall.

Athletes are now preparing for the start of the World Tour, this weekend in Tunis with an expected field of 350 judoka of more than 40 nations. Due to the fact that even if IJF is going to continue with several seminars in different continents, we cannot forget that this week we will celebrate the Grand Prix in Tunisia where these new rules will be applied for the first time.
