German judoka Eduard Trippel finished second at the 2020 Olympic Games and took bronze in the team event in Tokyo. He took the bronze medal at the World Junior Championships in Zagreb in 2017. He became German senior champion in 2017. With the German Junior Team he won bronze at the World Mixed Teams in 2017 in Zagreb. Eduard claimed a bronze medal at the Grand Prix in Tashkent and Grand Slam Osaka and Abu Dhabi. He took bronze at the IJF Judo masters in Doha in 2021. He claimed silver at the Grand Slam in Tokyo in 2022. Bagged silver at the Grand Slam Qazaqstan Barysy in 2024.
