Italian judoka Biagio D'Angelo won the gold medal at the EYOF in Tbilisi in 2015. In Sofia D'Angelo won a bronze medal at the European Cadet Championships U18 in 2015, He took silver at the 2015 World Championships in Sarajevo. D'Angelo (ITA) was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for cadets U50kg in 2016. Italian Junior Champion in 2019. He took silver at the European Open in Warsaw in 2020. He bagged a silver medal at the European U23 title in Budapest in 2021. He bagged a bronze medal at the European Open in Madrid in 2023. He secured a bronze medal at the European Open in Sarajevo in 2023.
