Japanese judoka Hyoga Ota was victorious at the Grand Slam in Tashkent in 2024. He claimed the victory at the Grand Slam in Tokyo in 2022 and bronze in Tokyo in 2016. He became World Cadet Champion U18 in 2013 in Miami. Ota won gold at the European Open in Rome in 2017. He won the Grand Slam in Ekaterinburg in 2018. He claimed a silver medal at the Grand Slam of Osaka in 2019. He secured a silver medal at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2023. He captured a silver medal at the GP in Zagreb in 2023. Seized gold at the Asian Championships in Hong Kong in 2024.
